UEPI in the Community

The Urban & Environmental Policy Institute is located in the north eastern section of the city of Los Angeles. While much of our work has a regional, state or national scope, our location in NE LA has also played a special role in defining several of our projects and programs--among them, ArroyoFest and the NELA Community Outreach Partnership Center. UEPI is also part of the Occidental College campus community and, along with the Center for Communtity Based Learning, has been a strong supporter of expanding community-based learning opportunities for students.
